Vuokatti Sport Test Center offers a wide range of services for monitoring developments. Our services include both traditional endurance tests and anaerobic capacity tests. In addition, Test Center also offers muscle fitness tests, equipment tests and In Body measurements.
WORLD CLASS TESTING FACILITIES
Vuokatti Sport Test Center offers a wide range of testing services with the newest technology and equipment. We have one of the few rollerskiing treadmills in the world, which allows us to test athletes competing in Cross-country Skiing, Nordic Combined and Biathlon in a very specific way. Over the years we have tested numerous world class athletes of different sports and our constantly evolving facilities guarantee that they find their way back every year.
SPORT & HEALTH SCIENCES - UNIVERSITY OF JYVÄSKYLÄ
Sports Technology Unit of the University of Jyväskylä Sport & Health Science faculty is located in Vuokatti. It specializes in exercise physiology research and it has Master's Program and PhD students in sports technology. The unit has started operating in 2004 and nowadays the cooperation between Vuokatti Sport and the University of Jyväskylä gives us a chance to serve our customers with the newest equipment and the most modern testing methods.

Whether you are an athlete competing at a top international level or an everyday mover who is interested of your own fitness level and progress, we will find the right tests for you. After the tests you will not be left alone, but based on the test results our professionals will give you feedback that you can utilize when planning your own training.
PREPARING TO THE TEST
The most important thing when preparing to the test is that the test should be done when you are completely healthy. The week before the test should be without any symptoms from a sickness. Doing a test while being sick is a health risk and thus, if you are or have been sick before the test please contact us and we can think the situation through together.
For test results to be as reliable as possible, the test should be done when you feel rested. However, depending from the test persons training background, it is recommended to do easy training also few days before the test.
During the test day and the day before you should avoid alcohol. It is also recommended to not have too much caffeine before the test. Eating before the test is very individual, but usually it is recommended to eat enough so that you have enough energy for the test but to avoid heavy food (highly greasy food) 3 hours before the test.
